Celestial Wedding // Wedding Inspiration

At the start of the year, we decided we wanted to create a wedding inspiration shoot at Camp Katur before our wedding season kicked off. We gathered together an epic team of suppliers, then the world started shifting (hello 2020!). Thankfully, with a bit of determination (and a lot of hand sanitiser) we were able to pull off this shoot before the world really went to shit.

Our goal was to create a gorgeous celestial inspiration shoot in the amazing new geodome wedding venue at Camp Katur. We're obsessed with the moon and stars, and this was a massive theme going in to 2020 weddings, obviously when we saw the geodome, we knew it was perfect!

The styling for the shoot was gorgeous blues and purples, interspersed with gold accessories and beautiful lights. MyPrettiesUK worked closely with The Petal Studio and Typical Type to style a stunning twinkly light lit ceremony scene. We think this is totally ideal for any micro weddings in 2020 and beyond.

We also had a gorgeous small table set for 6 (thinking ahead for all these covid restrictions!) dressed in stunning navy, black, and gold accessories, and strung with Edison lights.

Our bride wore a stunning star studded gown by BexBrides. When thinking of celestial themed bridal wear, Bex was the obvious choice! She makes such stunning custom bridal wear, and her star studded gowns and capes are a real statement on your wedding day.

This shoot was a real triumph, and turned out beautifully even with all the covid-19 complications. It was so lovely doing something creative before we ended up stuck inside for 3 months! It has also helped put us in a position to be super efficient and accustomed to shooting weddings and photoshoots with the restrictions we're all still working with.
