A Very Vintage Christmas // Wedding Inspiration

We love Christmas. And socks... and books for that matter. But especially Christmas.

When the inspiration and opportunity came along to do a vintage Christmas themed wedding shoot we absolutely leapt at the chance. We had been thinking about how we might be able to use the Victorian Street at the nearby Preston Park Museum and when we thought about Christmas it all fell into place.

We styled everything around deep burgundy, vibrant reds and luscious greens and got as much evergreen foliage and red berries into this bouquet as possible. We want to feel the Christmas wreath vibe from a mile away!

The stationary was a gorgeous art deco set with gold tassels and gold dipped feathers that are dripping with roaring 20s glamour and glitz.

The clothing was supplied by Dandy Threads, you probably already know about them because we bang on about them at every opportunity we get. They're an amazing gentleman's outfitter, absolutely unique and they are always fantastic to work with. The style suited the vibe and feel of the rest of the shoot so perfectly.

We couldn't ignore the glass house at Preston Park while we were there though.

We were able to persuade people to give us a whole second look so we could take full advantage of this stunning space. We kept things nice and opulent though, deep greens, blues and peacock feathers for the bouquet and a stylish, deep blue suit.
